The gray wolf was once widespread across Asia, Europe, and North America but is now listed as vulnerable due to habitat destruction and human fear. The gray wolf hunts in packs which enables it to take down large prey, such as moose, musk oxen, and caribou.
The wolf's coat can range in color from almost pure white to cream, tan, gray, brown, or even black.

Foxes are canids which are active both day and night and live in very diverse environments, from the Arctic tundra to deserts to suburbia. They hunt by stalking their prey, but they are not fussy eaters - their diet includes rabbits, hares, birds, mice, birds, frogs, beetles, worms, eggs, fruit, refuse, and any dead creature they come across.
There are several types of foxes, including red foxes, gray foxes, Arctic foxes, and swift foxes. The color of their coats ranges from rusty red to orange to gray to gray brown to white (Arctic fox)

Fennec Fox

The fennec fox is the smallest fox. It is nocturnal and lives in the Sahara Desert. It has large ears which help to radiate the heat, and fur on the soles of its feet to protect them from the hot sand. It eats rodents, insects, birds, lizards, termites, eggs, fruit, and seeds. The large ears help it to be able to locate food even if it is underground.
The fennec fox has golden or cream colored fur with a black-tipped tail.
